antunes_usr4Antonio Lobo Antunes, one of the most important contemporary Portuguese writers, visited Romania to meet with Romanian readers on the occasion of launching Fernando Pessoa’s “Natural Order of Things” novel, and the volume “Book of Disquiet”, one of the most important journals of the twentieth century. Published in successive editions worldwide, this diary enriches permanently, as personal manuscripts are brought to light and deciphered by Editor Richard Zenith.

The book translation in Romanian language was possible with the generosity of Bonte Foundation.
Surrounded by old and new friends, Micaela Ghiţescu – poet and novel translator, Ana Luisa Nunes Barata – Portugal Embassy Counselor, Alain Bonte – president of the Bonte Foundation, Carmen Musat – editor of the Cultural Magazine and writer, Cezar Paul Badescu, editor-in-chief of Literary Truth  and Denisa Comanescu – general director of Humanitas Fiction as host of the event, Antonio Lobo Antunes spoke of the joy of returning to Romania after 2003 , when he was awarded the International Festival  “Days and nights of literature” the Ovidius Grand Prize.
